About Me

I started taking pictures when I had my children, mostly to capture moments from our outdoor time. Over time, I became more interested in flowers and nature photography, paying attention to the details—light, colors, and textures. What began as a casual hobby grew into something more creative.

Eventually, I turned my photos into homemade cards and sent them to friends and family for all occasions. They encouraged me to take the next step and Gigi Blooms, my greeting card business, was started!

I have also been working in education for 20 years, as a teacher and administrator. I enjoy the balance between both—education keeps me grounded, while photography gives me a creative outlet.
